TransFan Jason Biggs
That's right, the guy who made love to a pie. Biggs appeared on MTV's weekened edition of TRL to promote his new movie "Saving Silverman" and on his shirt was a nice big Autobot symbol.
I didn't see him say anything about it or anything, so no idea if the shirt was his or just from MTVs wadrobe, but a sighting of anything Transformers related on TV is news during this big wait for new toys and shows.

Wave Rider: NOT Transformers.
It would appear the teasers Takara have been showing off of a new transforming robot series are a new line called Wave Rider. Still no news of any 2001 TF series.
For those interested, this line appears to mirror early rumors of the next Hasbro series, meaning organic vehicles and and robot modes modeled after animals.

Murry found this bit about Infogames taking over Hasbro's interactive division, as well as all the rights to publish titles based on Hasbro properties. So, if a new Transformers game is to be made, it will be made by these guys.

Interview with Sony - Transformers Movie News
AllSpark Elder Prime Z recently had the chance to catch up with Sony producer Chris Lee, who hd some interesting things to say bout the prospect of a Transformers movie.
Most importantly, he appeared to be contractually obligated not to say anything. If it was a dead project, he would've spilled all. Read more in the short interview.

AICN prints *fake* Transformers test shot
Someone sent Harry a photoshopped image of Metalforce Optimus Prime stading on a city street and labeled it as a test shot from the rumored Joseph Kahn directed Generation One live action movie. As usual, he's taking a beating from the talkback section for innocently posting this image.
