More Hasbro press releases
Wildride is now X-Brawn, the name Grimlock gets recycled, and it would appear that we are definitely getting some non-show toys with a basic jets mentioned as included in a 2 pack with the domestic versions of Indy Heat and Wrecker Hook. Expect it to be a repainted Machine Wars jet.
This latest update on the press release is still a tad confusing. Once again, wait for pictures (Which we should have by Wednesday) before jumping to conclusions.

Savage Noble, New Dinobots Hit Wal*Mart
Nebucron of the AllSpark found Savage Noble (or, more properly, Beast Changer), Rapticon and Terranotron at a new Wal*Mart in Philadelphia. Reports trickling in also confirm that they're going to be hitting in the next few weeks. With all the Robots in Disguise hysteria, we seem to have forgotten all about these!

Clarity & Confusion
Just because there are so many mistakes involved in this press release, this warrants a new update.
Many have speculated that there will be new spy changers or spychanger versions of Speedbreaker and Wildride. This is clearly a mistake, and will most likely be proved false when the toys are shown soon. There is still a lot left out of this press release and a lot of confusing language.
I must stress that we must all be skeptical until we see the toys. And even the three we've seen are no proof that those color schemes are final. Prowl still says "Mach Alert" on his side!

Hasbro Press Release for all 2001 Transformers.
LOTS of new info, including confirmation that it will be Autobots VS Predacons, the Spychangers are coming in 2 packs, and most of the new names (Wildride is still unnamed)
Also the last of the Battle For The Spark figures are decribed here. Not much we didn't already know, unfortunatly.
NOTE: Half of this release appears to be missing, no toy listings for ANY bad guys in the RID line. More still to come.

Hasbro Toyfair site update any minute now
No pictures yet, but keep an eye on this page. There are are two links; "Transformers Asst." and "Transformers Asst. 2" and if we're lucky they upload something for us to look at until next week's Toyfair.

IGN's take on Robots in Disguise
Mike adds to the pile of confirmation reports about Car Robots in the US.
Honestly, if you still don't believe the rumors at this point, you might as well stop reading this page.

New Terranotron & Rapticon Pictures
Super Cyberraptor of the AllSpark found this while surfing on a Japanese webpage. Clicks on the links labeled "NEW" to be treated to what appear to be final versions of the two repaints. Terranotron's legs are apparently sticking their TM Terrorsaur brown and yellow in lieu of green and silver, and Rapticon's color scheme is confirmed to be blue, and not black as earlier suspected. Terranotron has received a slight remold to gain a spark crystal.

SHOCKWAVE clears up what he knows.
The Legendary Allspark Spoilermietser clues us in on what he knows. Other sources have confirmed that Car Robots is coming to North America as Robots In Disguise, but Shockwave knows about the show for 2002. And what does he say? CGI animated by Mainframe, and involving new and classic characters. RiD filling in this this fall means a much longer development cycle the 2002 toys and show. Hasbro is taking their time, and they should be commended. Bringing over this acclaimed Takara line wasn't something they had to do, but it was awfully thoughtful, don't you think?

Robots In Disguise CONFIRMED
Hasbro slipped some info to the press, including tid bits on all their 2001 plans for all lines. There is a lot of non-TF stuff in there, so here is the relevant info:
TRANSFORMERS: There are robots, and then there are ROBOTS IN DISGUISE. The original toy robot that took the world by storm in the '80s comes full circle with the return of ROBOTS IN DISGUISE. Hasbro is bringing back the "classic" theme for TRANSFORMERS right down to the car-to-robot transformation. Plus, in the fall, Fox Kids will begin airing all-new TRANSFORMERS ROBOTS IN DISGUISE programming six days per week. Approximate retail: $4.99-29.99; Availability: August 2001.
Is this Car Robots? We still haven't seen any pictures yet, but on paper, this looks like REALLY good news. Thanks to Rav4Kid at The Allspark for this link.
This was originally broken by Tony Bacala, owner of TFW 2005.

Supreme Cheetor on IGN
Mike gives him the thumbs down. Anyone surprised?
