They were the dream -- mechanical beings able to transform their bodies in vehicles, machinery, and animals; a last line against the chaos bringer, Unicron! They are at war, heroic Autobot and Maximal pitted against evil Decepticon and Predacon, both on their homeworld, the metal planet called Cybertron, and here on our Earth. They are the galaxy's last hope, they are--TRANSFORMERS!

Alignment wallpaper available.
Simon Furman's exclusive Transforce 2001 tale Alignment has some exlcusive artwork to go with it. Check here for Optimus Prime by Garry Bodsworth and Graham Thomson, and a large version of the climactic Galvatron / Prime / Leige Maximo art by Lee Sulivan.
Alignment will chronicle the end of the Great War, as seen in the UK Comics, concluding a story 17 years in the making.

More FAQ updates to BobSkir for Robots in Disguise
In one of the more bizarre twists in Transformers history, Bob Skir continues to provide answers to questions about a show he has nothing to do with. Take this with a grain of salt folks. I'm not saying its a hoax, but there isn't a whole lot of reliable sources behind this.
Heck, even our mysterious RiD CG artist gave us his name, which is more than I can say for " the exec in charge of the RiD show overseeing the re-edit of CaRobots"

Act 4 PVC figures on the way!
Big Bad Toy Store has updated with a preorder for Act 4. No figures are announced yet, but the box art of Metroplex is a pretty good indication!
Also, if past lines are any indication, a new Convoy and Megatron variant will be introduced as well.

Skir Responds to RiD rumours
A fellow named "White Cat" on ATT fired an email to Bob Skir, and got this response. Looks like he's not working on the show after all.

Autobots VS Decepticons
According to the new issue of Toyfare, those are the factions for RiD.
I'm hearing this second hand from Rattrap007, so I'll get the magazine tonight and see if I can get the article scanned or offer more details.

Transformers from Sega? Huh?
I don't beleive this is an official TF game, but its got the concept down.
The MAME arcade emulator page is finishing up work on a Sega game from 1986 called "Transformer." It appears to be a shooter, with a robot that transforms into a plane or spaceship of some kind.
Thanks to patrick2480@aol.com of ATT for this scoop.

NEW INFO:John Garcia has informed me that the game was also available for PC under a different name (he recalls "Dexter" but is unsure). laf@syent.com on ATT also says he's seen the ROM for Sega Master system, and concurs that its not a real TF game.
EVEN NEWER INFO: Andrew Crane informs me the game for Master System is called "Transbot"
In other news, this is the most mail I've ever gotten about a single story, and a crappy story at that.

Write into Toyfare to encourage a TF exclusive
Trent Troop came up with this idea last week, and many, many transfans have already responded with excitement.
The basic idea is with the release of RiD, and Toyfare being supportive of this post Beast-era series, we might actually see some exclusive repaints with the magazine. Trent set up this website with the contact information, and what to say when you write.
He'd also like to remind everyone that "its a fandom-wide thing, and that any claims its associated with a particular webpage are erronous." So no matter where you heard it just be sure to write in and make sure our voices are heard!
