They were the dream -- mechanical beings able to transform their bodies in vehicles, machinery, and animals; a last line against the chaos bringer, Unicron! They are at war, heroic Autobot and Maximal pitted against evil Decepticon and Predacon, both on their homeworld, the metal planet called Cybertron, and here on our Earth. They are the galaxy's last hope, they are--

Heroes and Villains covers
Thanks to Spooie and RabidYak of TFW2005, here are the covers of the new Rhino DVDs, as supplied by Amazon.com.
Note that Cyclonus is not in "The Ultimate Doom" and that while coloring on Prime looks odd, that is how he looked in "Rebirth"

Transformers The Movie on DVD in Japan
Thanks to Mopedicon for the link, you can take a gander at the cover art for our favorite movie in the far east.
Do take note that though $24.95 is a reasonable price it will not play in American DVD players, and has nearly identical content to the recent Rhino release. Also note that this is the Japanese release, though this site lists the language track as "Chinese."
Those of you wanting to compare this cover to previous releases, might want to check out TF:TM Promotional Artwork. They've got all the video releases, poster art, soundtracks, and even some fan made posters.

GI Joe goes to Image- Transformers far behind?
Marvel's historic GI Joe comic book series picks up with brand new stories this September, all from the publishers at Image. Since Hasbro has awarded this license to a new publisher, could Transformers be on the way as well?
One thing is for sure, the fan interest for a new book is high, the publishers are ready, and all we're waiting for now is Hasbro's OK. Thanks to Prime Nova of the Allspark for this heads up.
EDITGarry Bodsworth also posted some information here and lead us to more info here
