They were the dream -- mechanical beings able to transform their bodies in vehicles, machinery, and animals; a last line against the chaos bringer, Unicron! They are at war, heroic Autobot and Maximal pitted against evil Decepticon and Predacon, both on their homeworld, the metal planet called Cybertron, and here on our Earth. They are the galaxy's last hope, they are--

Toyfare stars Optimus Prime
From Seibertron.com - "The cover of the latest issue, Toyfare #47, sports Medicom's Metalforce OPTIMUS PRIME, one of the coolest Transformers collectibles of all time. In addition to that, TOYFARE talks about the SCF (Super Collection Figures) Transformers from Takara as well as Robots In Disguise"
And I might add, it's nice to finally have time to post a piece of news again.

Joe Mad's Optimus
A few weeks ago, a vote was cast on comic artist Joe Madureira's site. This vote was for fans to request Joe to draw a character, and Prime beat stiff competition like Spiderman and Batman.
Now see the pencil of the famous Autobot leader!

Takara cracks down on Bootleg PVCs
Thanks to Doug Dlin and Doc Evil for bringing this news to my attention.
Takara is doing its best to get rid of the bootleg PVC figures recently on eBay and seen in various shops. Good to see a company stand up for their intellectual properties!

The Wreckers want YOU!
Botcon Beyond has updated a again with more artwork.
This is a screep cap from Beast Machines combined with the art from the Botcon ad in Toyfare to make a kind of old fashioned US Army recruitment poster.
Thanks to Mopedicon for noticing this update.

Machina's newest creation, a new post BM comic.
The art style and designs may take some getting used to, but this will definitely be an interesting story to watch play out.

Andrew Wildman's cover art for
Garry has given us another scoop on the new Titan books Transformers comic re-issue. Here is the brand new cover for the book with art by Andrew Wildman.
From left to right, the characters shown are Unicron (planet mode) Megatron/Ratchet, Powermaster Optimus Prime, Starscream, Shockwave, Unicron (head), Bludgeon, Prowl, Galvatron, and Grimlock. Cybertron appears in the far right corner. Suspiciously missing is Scorponk who was a major character and led the Decepticons during this period. However, I'm willing to overlook that problem in light of how great the picture is.

PVC pictures on Takara's website
Garry sends us news that a heap of high quality images of Takara's PVC line have been added. The pictures are great, and you can even take a peak at ACT-3 before they hit import shops.
But beware the language barrier! Takara's japanese is fine, but the English is a little..."unrefined"

Apelinq's Journal continues
The latest entry barely expands on what has been stated before, and seems to come from an unknown time. It would appear Apelinq's tale still has many surprises left...

Beast Machines: Lost Episodes live!
After over 6 months without an update, Traegorn RavenHawk has delivered the much anticipated episode 15. Episode 16 will be ready to go next week.
For those who don't know, it is suggested you read the archives first. These stories are satires of Beast Machines and scif-fi in general that incoropate such odd elements as Nick from the Backstreet Boys, an ill tempered Mole drone general, and even the mysterious Phil Bond...
I heartily reccomend them, and in no way ever threatened the authors or their friends to force them to write more.
